The Life and Times of an Internet Nerd

Sometimes I go on the Internet in hopes of finding some way of stimulating my restless mind. Sometimes I go on the Internet to waste my time, just faff about and not do anything of much importance. Sometimes I go on the Internet to find something or someone who will motivate me and inspire me to do more than I could ever dream of doing with my life. I go on the Internet to shape up who I am and who I want to become.

I'm not entirely sure if this is something most people can relate to, but growing up, I've found myself thinking, "Huh. [insert name here] is doing things with his/her life that just, well, put me to shame." or "Wow, I love the way [insert name here]'s mind works!" This is usually the case with the people I watch on YouTube. I see people like Kayley Hyde, who are able to translate my thoughts into words so very precisely, or people like John Green, who can always make things sound grander and far more poetic than my 16-year-old mind can ever seem to notice enough to appreciate, and I just feel like I'm...in a rut. I keep wanting the future to arrive and see what I will make of my life; wanting to know that no matter how many times I screw up, I'll have fun along the way and still turn out to be successful in whatever it is I choose to do in the end. The very idea of following in my YouTube idols' footsteps both thrills and frightens me.

The people I look up to are, to be quite frank, ...very bold and artsy. They don't have the most practical plans; anyone could try to do what these people do and end up mooching off their parents after graduating from university because their ideal career didn't ensure a successful future. These people -- they're living the life I hope to live in the near future. I hope to be able to sustain myself while seeing as much of the world as I can see as soon as possible; to write about my experiences; to make a change in the society we are living in today; to create a community full of people who are intellectual and opinionated, and will work together to reach one common goal as opposed to working against each other to see who will turn out to be "superior". I want everything I do in life to matter.

Confusion and worries about my future set aside, I'm thankful for having the Internet be a part of my life (and quite a considerable part it's been). Were it not for the people whose existence I would have never known about without the Internet, I would probably be a very different person. The YouTubers who have influenced me in ways people in real life never have, have helped me get to know who I am. I was introduced to things that are completely different from what I'm used to; from what everyone around me is used to. Because of this, I know what kind of effect I want to have on the world; what lifestyles attract me. It's helped me hone skills I never would have thought I'd actually be able to have and, along the way, made me realise that I don't always have to make strategically thought-out decisions. I just have to be impulsive and do whatever it is I want to do sometimes.

The Internet has taught me so much I don't think I would have learnt without access to it. Not having Kayley or John teach me what I know now would have probably led to me conforming to working in an office as a secretary, something I cannot and will not ever consider after my many learning experiences. At the moment, I see myself doing what both thrills and frightens me: Following in my YouTube idols' footsteps. I will work hard to travel to my heart's content, write until I dislocate my wrist (or some hyperbole I'm not clever enough to come up with), and make a change...and I owe it all to the Internet.

Summing up what's goin' on in my head.

Aaaaaaand on that note, I should probably be getting back to revising for my physics exam. *shudders*

Creepy Enough To Make Enemies

After many years of going to school and being forced to interact with others, I'd come to the realisation that I am what you call "socially awkward" quite some time ago. Now, one person in my class disagrees (probably just to spite me, but I digress*) and says I'm just really nerdy. But whenever I partake in a conversation, at some point, someone will inevitably point out my awkwardness. The topic of our conversation then changes to how awkward I am until it boomerangs to what we were originally talking about. My point being that, yes, I may be an outgoing person, but that does not mean I know how to socialise in a manner that the youth of today considers "normal". Then again, I've never been much of a fan of following the norm. Actually, some people's first impression of me tends to scare them off. Apparently, I'm too passionate about everything. (I'm not saying that I'm an overly dramatic chick; I'm just confident of how I feel about things. Once I have an opinion of something, I will go to the ends of the Earth to back up why I feel that way. I research it, have facts that play a role in the formulation of my thoughts on things, and talk about whatever it is with other people (usually when they feel the same way). Heck, if it's a big thing, I'll go to conventions about it.

The thing is that I want people to know what type of person I am right off the bat. I don't settle for small talk. No talking about the weather, that new film that blew my socks off, or any of that superficial stuff I can only talk about when someone knows me too well to "get to know me" all over again, you know what I mean? Like, if I don't know you, I'll tell you about my obsession with Star Wars, Spielberg, Sailor Moon, Harry Potter, and YouTube the majority of the time. I'm not going to start talking to you about how easily we'll get along cos we're all so freaking nice or current events or whatever it is normal people talk about when they don't know each other. I'll give you a sense of what I'm like as if we'd known each other for years, not polite conversation and shyness. I assume that makes me come off as too eager about everything and it makes me look creepy enough to make people dislike me and slither on to the dark side of the Force (or the unachievably fabulous bunch that is the "cool crowd"). But the people who are worth being friends with actually stick around and indulge in all the things we, as a group, are passionate about. We sit around making Harry Potter/Star Wars-related "Your Mum" jokes, talk about our favourite race in Star Wars (even though I don't like the prequel trilogy, I think I'm leaning towards the Gungans, cos they live underwater....or maybe the Hutts, cos they're so disgusting and sleazy, the perfect description of a gang), the last book we bought, and just a bunch of unbelievably nerdy things that make me happy to be unpopular.

I suppose what I am trying to say is that I think I'm moving in the right direction with the whole "this is how I introduce myself" thing (try to read that in the least "I-am-holier-than-thou" tone of voice you can, because I didn't mean to sound pompous or anything). If I introduce myself by showing people the way I always am, they'll know if they can handle how much I tend to spaz over things. If they can't, they'll know better than to get me going on something I like so I don't annoy them. If they can, however, we can become friends and then we can all spaz over things. Because, as we all know, spazzing out as a group is a lot more fun than doing so on your own...in your room....with your Gryffindor robes on... I mean, what?

                                                                                                            xx

*Someone in my class likes to go against everything I say, for some reason. If trying to make me seem as though I'm in the wrong all the time is what floats his/her boat, then who am I to get in the way of someone's happiness? I'll just sit back and enjoy life as it comes instead of trying to make people look bad in order to get a sense of superiority, yeah?

The 90s ("I feel like the future is happening!")

Yes, I know I shouldn't blog at 2:00am and, quite frankly, I don't give a flying fart. That being said, I present to you a post that I should have written a long time ago.

Ahh, the 90s. Anything reminiscent of the 90s/early childhood is über comforting (I used that word because I feel as though regular words cannot fully convey the elation I experience when I think of the 90s). A few minutes ago, I was talking to my mom and sister. For reasons I won't go into, we started talking about Barbies. Freaking Barbies. Do you gals remember Barbies? The good ones from the 90s that were atrociously anatomically inaccurate (lulz)? Yes. We were talking about the (well over) 50 Barbies we'd collected throughout the years, Barbies we wanted, and awesome playsets that were used until they fell apart. I would like to just post pictures of toys from my childhood. Not all of them are Barbies and not all of them are necessarily from the 90s, but they are fantastic enough to be ranked up their with 'em. So, let the reminiscing commence!

OH, MY GOD, I WANTED THAT. I don't remember if I actually got it, but WHOA, I WANTED IT SO BADLY.

Now I remember: I never got the water park; I got this one. Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE this thing. I'm just really obsessed with water (I'll probably post about that some other day), so I kept thinking about that other one. So, in my sad attempt to pretend it was a water park, I filled it up with water and ended up damaging the sticker decorations. That sucked. :( Still, I enjoyed opening the white closet on the top floor and "using" the mirror.

I WAS OBSESSED WITH THIS THING. OMG, Snow White and Polly Pocket? That's dope, bro. You're supposed to pull the roof up and use the playset inside. When you hit the switch that was at the bottom, the little attic (upper left window) would light up. :D

My sister had the Disney one (the one with the castle; lower left). It had a ton of secret stuff on it. :D

I really wanted this doll. I thought the way you could twirl her around with that white thing was cool. I still do, to be honest. I will get this one day. Even though I'm over ten years too late.

My sister wanted this so much! I wanted her to have it, too. I was sort of hoping she could lend it to me should she get it. xD I wanted to try taking the little fairy out of her flowery dress. :] My sister says she'll probably get this one some day. I believe her. lol

The way that horse picked up the basket was SUPER COOL. Yet another doll we wanted. Admit it. You love it, too

My sister had this doll. It was her favourite... I broke it. :D I didn't mean to, though! It was an accident! I just got too into the game, I suppose. :( She plans on buying this one (again), too. I had the Teresa one, by the way. Her clothing was purple. :D

Everything on that box I had. :D Mermaid Barbies were the best things in the world.

This doll was so cool. The Velcro stars were sometimes annoying, but overall, it was a fantastic doll. :) I loved all the jewels on her tail and stuff. (lol so eloquent)

This is one of the more memorable dolls. It was awesome. I would love to hold it one more time. :) Also, freaking bubbles came out of her crown. How freaking cool is that?

If you're a chick and are part of my generation, you MUST have played with this doll at some point in your life. P.S.- The roller-skates made some pretty rad roll-y noises.

This is pretty self-explanatory.

I admit I gave into the fad. Bratz were pretty cool. Jade was always my favourite. :] However cool and trendy Bratz were,  though, I was, am, and always will be Team Barbie, yo. Representing...home..skillet... Dawg.

LOL I have no idea what attracted me to this doll back then. xD For some reason, I had this doll. My favourite Barbie doll, though, was a Teresa doll that was from the 70s or something. She was wearing a short, fuzzy, pink go-go dress. It had a big, furry collar. If anyone knows the name of that edition, PLEASE tell me! <3

My family and I came home from the cinema after watching Phantom Menace and..well, I liked Queen Amidala's/Sabé's style and then...this happened. I got this.

Or this one. My sister got one and I got the other. I'm still not sure which one got which... But I played with those doll SO FREAKING MUCH.

I grew up with Sony. What can I say? Freaking Spyro, Crash, Snowboarders, Tekken 3, Rayman, and all the good stuff.

Here's the funny part: I never actually owned this. The dentist I used to go to worked in an office that had tons of different gaming systems set up in the waiting room. So, basically, I played Mario Kart, Super Mario 64, this snowboarding game that I can't remember quite clearly, and [I think they had] a game similar to Galaga around once every six months. lol

Okay, so that wraps things up. I'm pretty sure I'll remember a lot more later, so I'll just come back and edit every once in while. Hope you enjoyed this flash from the past as much as I did. :) Goodnight.

                                                                                                                         xx

I just wish my life could be 1995-2004 on repeat. That'd be pretty sweet.

Duuuuude

So, a dear friend I met last year moved to the States. :( Since we never got around to painting ceramics, I thought I'd make her an Internet-y type thing as a goodbye "present"...."remembrance"? "Memorial". Beats me. I have no idea what to call it. At any rate, Yosenit, this post's fo' youuuu.

I WILL MISS

  • your extremely hearty laugh. 'Tis very hearty indeed.
  • "JOSIEVET! JOSIEVET!"/"Lauren. :D"
  • the way we randomly break into strange Euro-Asian type accents. Now that I think about it, the accent sounds like Viceroy Gunray's accent. LOLOL (If you don't watch Star Wars, just YouTube "Phantom Menace part 1" -- it's the green guy who says "It's Queen Amidala herself!". You'll find it sounds like the accent we use. xD)
  • "Oh, I like your nail polish! Where'd you get it?" "WALMART."
  • the fact that you and Nicole always either ditch me and watch me from afar, and make fun of how unbelievably awkward and nerdy I am or just send me away to "mind your spot" at the food court or something and always look at me, giggling...at how unbelievably awkward and nerdy I am. Yes, believe it or not, I will miss that. lol "You always take out your DS. You're just really awkward." Well, it'd be weirder if I started talking to myself, now wouldn't it? xD
  • the infamous janitor mating call. (I can only imagine how people who aren't in on that joke react to this one, haha.)
  • "Combat BOOTS!" "You wear them in combat... :D"
  • the iodized salt that may contain salt.
  • how I never really got into the otaku scene, but was entertained by you and Nicole's dance-and-sing-along numbers nevertheless.
  • "*giggles* Martha!"
  • your babbling. You didn't babble much (I should know. I practically invented babbling. Actually, maybe Nicole's up for that title, what with gems such as "It's bigger in New York" and all. lol), but the few times you did babble, it was so full of failure that it automatically counteracted the failure and instead produced pure awesomeness. It was magical.
  • the fact that we're so dorky, we became friends because of the bonding magic that is Sailor Moon. I am forever grateful that we became friends. :)
  • calling you Asian. I have no idea why I enjoy doing that so much (that's what she said! Booyahhhhh).
  • the amazing times you, Nicole, Amanda, and I had at the conventions. Mostly you, Nicole, and I, cos Amanda only went with us to one of the many conventions we attended. Still, I'm glad you were there when we all met Johnny Yong Bosch...where you didn't fail to make fun of  how nerdy I am for awkwardly taking out my GameBoy so he could sign it. lol You always seize the opportunity, don't you?
  • Above all, I'm going to miss you. Like, physically seeing you, hearing your voice, and hugging you. Sitting with you at lunch and discussing the most random things, laughing so very loudly...maybe too loudly. xD I really hope you come back for Christmas so we can hang out again!
So...yeah. I'll miss a lot of things. So many that I can't even remember all of them, so I just included some of the most memorable ones in the list above. I hope you do well in school, have fun with your boyfriend (not that kind of fun, yo.) and the rest of your friends, and are just really happy. :D Stay in touch! <3

                                                            Hoping you are well,
Laura [insert last name here ... What? You can't be too careful, what with all those pedo-bears who lurk around the web and all.]

My Favourite...

film: It's a tie between Finding Neverland, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, Back To The Future II, and Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi. Some of you might be, like, "What! But the best one is Episode V! Darth Vader revealed that he is (or 'was') in fact Anakin Skywalker! It's the most memorable revelation in film history!" Sure that was one of, if not the most important part in the trilogy (or trilogies). I agree. Completely. I just like "Return of the Jedi" more story-wise. I mean, c'mon. That was an awesome plot.
colour combination: Light blue, true white, and dark grey.
book: The Hunger Games. Even out of the entire trilogy, it's my favourite book.
possession(s): Sailor Moon manga Vol. I, my ticket to the Paul McCartney concert, GameBoy COLOR signed by Johnny Y. Bosch, iPod, Polaroid camera, my Hunger Games trilogy, and my vast collection of penguin knick-knacks.
animal: PENGUINNNNS.
programme: At the moment, it's got to be Sailor Moon. Doctor Who is definitely up there, but I can't really say until I've seen enough of it. I've only just started. I'm finishing season two. ;D
country: England. Hopefully, I'll move there right after I graduate.
band of all time: The Beatles.
hobbies: Singing (I'm a choir girl. I'll happily admit it. :D), dabbling on the guitar (I make it sound like I enjoy drooling all over my guitars. LOL "Dabbling" is an odd word. xD), anything crafty (jewelry-making, knitting, making my own little decked-out containers and picture frames, and I'm currently taking up scrapbooking. :D), and WRITING. I LOVE TO WRITE... Algebra isn't a hobby, right? Cos I really like that... I'd love to take up some more artsy hobbies this summer, like photography and painting.
type of bags: MESSENGER BAGS. <3
actor: Johnny Depp, yo.
card game: War.
board game: Chess. But the only board game I love to play and am good at is Mancala.

THERE! Some of my all-time favourite things! *hyperventilates* I hope we have something in common! :)

** I will be editing this from time to time. Changing, adding, or removing some things. So....y'all can just check on this every once in a while.

In The Backseat

** In The Backseat is a song by one of, if not my favourite, contemporary bands, Arcade Fire. As a little side-note, I'd like to add that while others might think that Reginé is a low-quality singer, I think she's a perfect fit for the feeling and atmosphere created by their music. No other voice could ever go as well with the sounds of the piano, bass, and violin that always carry the the most boppin' melodies in their songs. So, to those of you who get the feeling of dropping orphans in acid when you hear her sing (I'm talking to you, Dad and sister), you just can't appreciate the passion that she has when she sings...and frankly, that sucks for you, man.

Now, I have been listening to this song for an eternity now. It's always been such a fantastic masterpiece to me and something I can totally relate to. Here are some of the lyrics (I've dissected the song and would like to share some of my thoughts on it with you):

I like the peace
in the backseat,
I don't have to drive,
I don't have to speak,
I can watch the country side,
and I can fall asleep.

My family tree's
losing all its leaves,
crashing towards the driver's seat,
the lightning bolt made enough heat
to melt the street beneath your feet.

Alice died
in the night,
I've been learning to drive.
My whole life,
I've been learning.

When I first listened to this song, all I thought it was about was a drive in the night, just getting lost in your thoughts while sitting in the backseat of a car and looking out the window, observing your surroundings. That idea was fun while it lasted. Yesterday, I listened to it again, and came to the conclusion that it really had nothing to do with driving. Problem was that the entire time I thought that instead of
learning, it was longing. So even the second conclusion was wrong. That conclusion, by the way, was that it was about always going in "the backseat of life" to avoid doing things for yourself. Always being driven to places, never driving to them yourself. That it was about taking the easy way in life despite the fact that deep down, you really do want to do things for yourself and become your own person, capable of looking after yourself. Basically, always being afraid to take chances. But then, I looked up the lyrics, and realised that I was wrong yet again. Now, I believe the song is about sitting back and learning from what you see out "the car window in the backseat" so you can "learn to drive". Y'know what I mean? Like, learning how to do things from others' experiences instead of your own. But, you know, I could be wrong. The song could just be about going out for a drive in the night, getting lost in your thoughts and looking out the window, watching the hundreds of thousands of blades of grass pass you by at 55mph. I guess I'll never really know until I ask Arcade Fire myself. Till then, I'll choose whatever I think it's about depending on the situation I'm in and how I feel in the moment.

*Please excuse the syntax errors (if any). I'm really sleepy and can't really think straight. I'm going to bed now. :) Goodnight!
**I _just_ found out what the song means...and good Lord, I am a moron.

Goals for the Season

When I was younger, summer vacation meant staying at hotels for a few days with my family, driving around the island, and taking part in some sort of hobby. Recently, my summers have been...pretty bad. I mean, I do things that, in the moment, seem like a lot of fun, but when I go back to school and my friends are sharing their adventurous anecdotes with me and the rest of our peers, ...I look back and realise I'd done nothing memorable. I didn't go on trips, because we can't afford it (curse the lower-middle class lifestyle!), I didn't really have any fun hobbies in mind, I can't do anything with my sister, because she either likes to sleep in, go on FaceBook (a site I hate), or go out with her lover, and my curfew's messed up from staying up past midnight that first day of freedom, thus ruining any chances I'd had to go out during the day and fully appreciate the experience. Just today, in fact, I woke up at 6:00pm. I know...I know. But then, I remembered: during the second term in school last year, I made many, many lists. Lists of places I want to see, books I want to read, things I want to do, hobbies I'd like try out, films/programmes I want to watch, bands I want to check out, and things of that nature. Now, the downside of it all is that most of things I'd love to experience involve money in some way [make your own joke here]. "Get a job", you say? I agree. I just turned sixteen on the 30th of May. Why not? OH, YEAH. I have to speak in Spanish.

If you've been reading my blogs for some time, you probably know that I was born and am being raised in Puerto Rico. Puerto Ricans speak Spanish. I should speak Spanish...and I do. I'm just not able to express myself well enough. Ever since kindergarten, I have been attending an all-English school. If I ever dared to speak Spanish outside of Spanish class, I'd get fined. Yes, I would get fined. Every single time. Eventually, I got used to speaking English at all times, and my Spanish just kind of went downhill from there. This sucks, because now, when I really need that skill, I don't have it. I can't get a job if I can't convince the manager that I'm able to converse with others, let alone the manager him/herself. So, basically, I have to script what I will say to the manager, and will inevitably panic if I'm not ready for the questions that will be asked. But, come on. With my maths skills, I'm pretty sure I would at least get a job as a cashier, right? ... Let's hope so. Oh, the typical case of "should have-could have-would have"...

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I hope everything will fall into place this summer, so I can actually have a story to tell my friends that is longer that one or two sentences. May the odds be ever in my favour (five points to those of you who recognised that)! I hope at least a few of you are able to relate to this post. Well, I regret to inform you that we must now sorrowfully part. Gotta dash!

Within the Interim Between My Last Post and This Post...

I donated my hair. Okay, I realise I haven't really told you about that. I've been growing my hair out for five years straight; didn't even trim my ends. Before Friday, my hair was about an inch below my...sitting area (<---- lulz). Now, it's not even below my chest. So, that kind of sucks. I mean, five years with mystical mermaid hair. I was really attached to it! I miss it quite a lot, but I'm sure I'll manage. Besides, it will grow throughout the summer. Oh, and I have bangs (first time since I was five years old!). I'm still in the can't-figure-out-how-to-style-them phase, though. Sigh. You know, I cried when my hairdresser started cutting it. At least it was all for a good cause. Alright, so that's it.

Another lovely experience is....Comic-Con! Comic-Con was AMAZING! I didn't buy many things (just the actual ticket to go in and a 2-pack of Pocky sticks), but OH, THE EXPERIENCE WAS PRICELESS!!!! "But, Laura, Pocky sticks are just Pocky sticks. They're nothing out of the ordinary. Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah--" See, that's where you're WRONG, because at Comic-Con, I had the absolute pleasure to meet *drum-roll* Johnny Yong Bosh!!!! :D You may or may not know him as Adam on the "Power Rangers" (the black one) or Ichigo and Hollow Ichigo on "Bleach". Speaking of which, I keep getting bugged about saying I'm not into "Bleach", so I will start watching it, you little buggers. Anyway, back to Johnny. At around 11:30-ish am, he signed my GameBoy COLOR (Yeah, I asked him to sign that puppy, because I didn't have a spare bit of parchment... What do you want me to do? I had NO IDEA he was coming!) and my arm. Yes, you read that correctly. Johnny Yong Bosch signed my freaking arm. As in, he made physical contact with me for a few seconds and the ink of the marker he used is now seeping through my skin. I feel as though I should mention the fact that when I take a shower, I cover that arm in a plastic bag to preserve the autograph. Yes, I am weird. Speaking of weird, he said I was weird! Y'know, jokingly...I hope. :D It's not because of me, actually. My friend urged him to call me weird, so...yeah.

Ah, let's not forget the hour-long conference with Johnny himself. I was in the third row. 'Twas very magical. He did the Hollow Ichigo laugh without realising that his daughter was asleep. Lulz. It was just... AHHHHHHHHH!!!! He was so funny, too. He talked about some lines on Power Rangers that he just thought were terrible, i.e., "I'm a frog." and "MORPHENOMENAL!". LOLOL "Morphenomenal". I'm going to have to use that from time to time. Well, since I can't really write everything that was spoken about during the conference and things the fans asked him, I'll have to end the adventurous story here. Until my next post, DFTBA (threw that one in for my fellow Nerdfighters) and I hope y'all have a MORPHENOMENAL (!) day. :) Byeeeeeee!

17 May 2011

Hiya.

                                        Allow me to introduce myself.

Hi there. My name is Laura. I am a fifteen-year-old female who quite enjoys the Internet. Other things I like include writing, astronomy, algebra, cooking/baking (or at least the consumption of the end result. :D), reading, photography (if only I were good at taking the pictures myself...), video blogs, and philosophical debates...well, as long as the other person isn't pretentious and all "high and mighty" because they can come up with clever, on-the-spot counterarguments. Nope. Nope, nope, nope. I really don't like that.

Naturally, since I am Puerto Rican, being loud is to be expected. In fact, whenever my family gets together, a foreigner would swear we're all fighting, when we're all really just getting along in the nice, dandy, familiar atmosphere of a relative's home. So...if you ever plan on visiting Puerto Rico, feel free to anticipate loud music being played during the night, fried food being sold on the street, artisans selling their crafts under white tents, awesome food that'll give you the tasty equivalent of being high (lol), and cool architecture.

Anyway, BACK TO MEHHHHH. I find it impossible to describe anything using a minimal amount of words, because....well... IT'S JUST TOO DARN HARD. I mean, I'm freaking fifteen, for crying out loud. Aren't I supposed to have more words in my vocabulary? Jeez. It just really sucks when people assume I'm a snob because of the way I express myself. :( I really am not. I'm fun. I'M FUNNY. D: I mean, I hope I don't sound like some old lady when I'm having a grand ol' time communicating with others. I'm still a teenager. I want friends my age, like the ones I have now. Well, I guess I'd be lying if I told you I speak the way I write. I hope that makes sense to all of y'all. I still talk like a teenager; all hip and happening and whatnot (despite that phrase I just used).

So, yeah. I'm guessing now's the time for me to step up to the plate and share some teenager-y qualities I have about me. :D I LOVE science fiction and think anime is okay (not obsessed with it, but I don't hate it). No, I don't like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, or Bleach. Granted, I haven't watched much of either of those shows, but I'm...just...not...interested? DON'T HURT ME, NOW! I like romance-comedy and the occasional magical girl anime, like "Sailor Moon" (BECAUSE I'M A GIRL!. LOLOL). I loooooove watching Japanese dramas. OH, MY GOD! I LOVE 'EM! SO MUCH! For my fellow drama-lovers, there's going to be a new version of "Hana Kimi" coming out soon. The star of the show will be a girl from AKB48. HECK, YES! But, yes. I hope that piece of information was teenager-y enough. :) OH, and I like nail varnish. I've become OBSESSED with the stuff lately. I think that's pretty much it. If you guys have any questions at all, feel free to ask away on YouTube. I'll just leave the link right here.

                                                                                                         Bye. :) *waves*
