Hiya.

                                        Allow me to introduce myself.

     Hi there. My name is Laura. I am a fifteen-year-old female who quite enjoys the Internet. Other things I like include writing, astronomy, algebra, cooking/baking (or at least the consumption of the end result. :D), reading, photography (if only I were good at taking the pictures myself...), video blogs, and philosophical debates...well, as long as the other person isn't pretentious and all "high and mighty" because they can come up with clever, on-the-spot counterarguments. Nope. Nope, nope, nope. I really don't like that.

    Naturally, since I am Puerto Rican, being loud is to be expected. In fact, whenever my family gets together, a foreigner would swear we're all fighting, when we're all really just getting along in the nice, dandy, familiar atmosphere of a relative's home. So...if you ever plan on visiting Puerto Rico, feel free to anticipate loud music being played during the night, fried food being sold on the street, artisans selling their crafts under white tents, awesome food that'll give you the tasty equivalent of being high (lol), and cool architecture.

     Anyway, BACK TO MEHHHHH. I find it impossible to describe anything using a minimal amount of words, because....well... IT'S JUST TOO DARN HARD. I mean, I'm freaking fifteen, for crying out loud. Aren't I supposed to have more words in my vocabulary? Jeez. It just really sucks when people assume I'm a snob because of the way I express myself. :( I really am not. I'm fun. I'M FUNNY. D: I mean, I hope I don't sound like some old lady when I'm having a grand ol' time communicating with others. I'm still a teenager. I want friends my age, like the ones I have now. Well, I guess I'd be lying if I told you I speak the way I write. I hope that makes sense to all of y'all. I still talk like a teenager; all hip and happening and whatnot (despite that phrase I just used).

     So, yeah. I'm guessing now's the time for me to step up to the plate and share some teenager-y qualities I have about me. :D I LOVE science fiction and think anime is okay (not obsessed with it, but I don't hate it). No, I don't like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, or Bleach. Granted, I haven't watched much of either of those shows, but I'm...just...not...interested? DON'T HURT ME, NOW! I like romance-comedy and the occasional magical girl anime, like "Sailor Moon" (BECAUSE I'M A GIRL!. LOLOL). I loooooove watching Japanese dramas. OH, MY GOD! I LOVE 'EM! SO MUCH! For my fellow drama-lovers, there's going to be a new version of "Hana Kimi" coming out soon. The star of the show will be a girl from AKB48. HECK, YES! But, yes. I hope that piece of information was teenager-y enough. :) OH, and I like nail varnish. I've become OBSESSED with the stuff lately. I think that's pretty much it.
